Print Delivery Costs

FREE UK delivery for all prints.

International delivery is calculated at check out, the cost is determined by the shipping destination and the weight of the order. You can add items to the basket and go to check out to view the price, all you need to do is enter your email and shipping address to get a price, no payment will be taken before the shipping costs are calculated. Europe delivery from £5, rest of the world delivery from £12.

Customs Tax for Overseas Customers: Custom tax or duties where applicable are to be paid by the customer receiving the goods not by the sender (Minty Sainsbury). Please be aware if you are ordering goods to a country where customs taxes will be charged. 

All giclee prints are wrapped in acid free paper and either mailed in tubes or in flat reinforced packages.

Delivery Timings for Prints

Shipping typically takes to 5-7 days to arrive in the UK from when the order is made. And between 6-10 working days for international shipping. During the Christmas period the delivery time may be slightly longer. Once the parcel has been shipped you will receive an email notification. 

All UK parcels are sent with the Royal Mail. Expect to receive the parcel in 1-3 days from when you are sent the shipping notification email.

For international deliveries, we use Royal Mail Tracked and Signed and couriers DPD, UPS, Fed Ex and Parcelforce. Expect to receive international parcels in 3-5 working days from when you receive the shipping notification email if the shipping destination is in Europe. Expect the delivery time for all other international deliveries to be 5-7 working days. 

Limited Edition Labels for Prints

A unique Limited Edition label is attached to the back of the print. This is hand signed by the artist. Each label includes details of the print method, size, paper type, ink set, edition number, hallmark, ID and date of print. The source, size and date of the print instils customer confidence and confirms it has been produced by a professional printer using the correct setup and archival processes. Each label measures 105 x 45mm. The print is embossed with Minty Sainsbury’s logo and hand numbered in pencil on the front.

Payment

Payment is handled through my Squarespace website by Stripe, Paypal, or Apple Pay. You do not need a Stripe account you simply check out using your credit or debit card using any of the payment methods.

Original Pencil Drawings and Commissions

Purchasing Original Pencil Drawings

Please get in touch if you are interested in purchasing any of the original pencil drawings. I can give you prices for the pieces you are interested in and we can discuss the best shipping and payment method. 

Collection of artwork is usually the safest method of exchanging artwork but this is not always an option. Smaller pictures can be packaged and sent in their frame with the glass included. However for larger pictures there is a risk that the glass will break in transit and therefore we will have to discuss the various different methods of delivery: the drawing sent unframed, the drawing sent in the frame without glass or with perspex etc. 

If the customer chooses to have the artwork delivered by courier they must decide if they want to insure the artwork being aware that many courier services do not compensate artwork. Once the delivery method is decided I will securely package and post the drawing however the customer must take full responsibility for the state in which the picture arrives. If there is damage to the frame or drawing then this can be taken up with the courier service provided the customer has chosen to insure the parcel.

Commissioning Bespoke Artwork 

If you are interested in commissioning a bespoke drawing then email info@mintysainsbury.com with a photo of the building(s) you had in mind and a rough idea of size you would like. 

Once I have this information I will be able to send over some estimate prices and sizes for the artwork and we can discus a timeframe. Before I start work on the artwork a non-refundable deposit will be charged, and the final payment will be paid on completion of the commission. 

Please note that I calculate the cost of a commission on the time it will take to complete the drawing. If therefore you want to make changes to the design when I am working on it or after it is completed this will take additional time and will incur additional costs. 

All commissioned work is non-refundable as it is a bespoke personal piece of artwork that I would not be able to re-sell. The full price of the artwork must be paid on completion of the artwork. 


Returns

Damaged or Undelivered Goods

If goods arrive damaged in transit then please contact me immediately to explain the issue. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately I can’t offer you a refund or replacement.

Please send digital photos of the damage to the outside of the parcel as well as photos of the damage to the print itself. These photos are essential in order to claim a refund from the delivery company. Once I have received the photos I will be happy to look into it and offer a refund or replacement.

The delivery company is only responsible for the delivery on the parcel in transit so if the print was damaged after it was delivered to a safe space or a neighbour then this is no longer covered by their insurance policy and I will not be able to offer a refund or replacement. 

If you have received an email notification from me saying that the goods have been shipped but nothing has arrived in the predicted time (see Delivery Timings for Prints above) pleased get in touch and I will help look into it. For international orders all parcels are sent trackable and therefore we can look up the progress of the parcel.

Refunds or Returns of Unwanted Goods

If you are unhappy with the product(s) you have 48 hours from when you received it to contact me and let me know why you want to return it. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the exact same condition that you received it. 

To complete your return, I require a receipt or proof of purchase, if ordered through the website then your name and date of purchase should be enough information for me to find the proof of purchase.

Please return all items in the protective packaging in which you received it. The cost of returning the parcel is the responsibility of the customer and the items must be returned within 7 days. Shipping costs from the original order are non-refundable.

If you are returning an item over £20, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. I don’t guarantee that I will receive your returned item. If you return an item(s) and it never arrives with me, then I cannot offer a refund.

If you are returning an undamaged print or cards because you are unsatisfied with the product we cannot then refund you if the product arrives back with us damaged. In this case you would have to try and claim back the cost of product from the postal service you use for the damage caused in the return transit. For this reason I strongly advice that you insure the parcel for the value of the item(s) when returning products. 

Once your return is received and inspected, I will send you an email to notify you that I have received your returned item. I will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment. 

Refunds and returns only apply to prints or cards, not to original pencil drawings or commissions.
